Gombe Stream National Park is on the western border of Tanzania, bordering with Congo. The park is on Lake Tanganyika with untamed, huge and thick forest.

Gombe Stream National Park is 52 sq kms, considered the smallest park in Tanzania. It inhabits the great and endangered chimpanzees. It is 16 kms (10 miles) from Kigoma town.
